The rehab is so important for Mark, who had a terrible accident and trauma. The rehab measurements divide into 3 parts. The first one is mental health, which contains different choices as followed, drug rehabilitation, including rehabilitation (penology)--rehabilitation of criminal behavior, rehabilitation (neuropsychology)--therapy aimed at improving neurocognitive function that has been lost or diminished by disease or traumatic injury, psychiatric rehabilitation,--a branch of psychiatry dealing with restoration of mental health and life skills after mental illness, rehabilitation counseling--counseling focused on helping people who have disabilities achieve their goals, rehabilitation robotics--the use of robotic devices to augment rehabilitation and telerehabilitation--the delivery of rehabilitation services over telecommunication networks and/or the internet.( E. Sherwood Brown, & Patricia A. Chandler, 2001,pp: 17–21) The second part is physical therapy, and it contains complication therapy. Some fractures can lead to serious complications including a condition known as compartment syndrome. If not treated, compartment syndrome can result in amputation of the affected limb. Other complications may include non-union, where the fractured bone fails to heal or mal-union, where the fractured bone heals in a deformed manner. For example, imperfect union of the fracture such as Delayedunion, Nonunion, Malunion and Crossunion, while others have Avascular necrosis, Shortening, Jointstiffness, Sudeck'sdystrophy, Osteomyelitis, Ischaemiccontracture, Myositisossificans and Osteoarthritis. (MacKenzie EJ, Cushing BM, et al, 1993, pp: 528–539) Pain management is another therapy. Acute pain is usually managed with medications such as analgesics and anesthetics. Management of chronic pain, however, is much more difficult and may require the coordinated efforts of a pain management team, which typically includes medical practitioners, clinical psychologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners. Sugar taken orally reduces the total crying time but not the duration of the first cry in newborns undergoing a painful procedure (a single lancing of the heel). (Natasha Chandok, MD and Kymberly D. S. Watt, 2010 ,pp:451–458, )It does not moderate the effect of pain on heart rateand a recent single study found that sugar did not significantly affect pain-related electrical activity in the brains of newborns one second after the heel lance procedure. Sweet oral liquid moderately reduces the incidence and duration of crying caused by immunization injection in children between one and twelve months of age. It is possible for many chronic pain sufferers to become so absorbed in an activity or entertainment that the pain is no longer felt, or is greatly diminished. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is effective in reducing the suffering associated with chronic pain in some patients but the reduction in suffering is quite modest, and the CBT method employed seems to have no effect on outcome. Also, Pain is the most common reason for people to use complementary and alternative medicine. Besides, early rehabilitation of limb function norms is also necessary to the bone fracture patient.
